SIMPLE SHOPPING. IT’S WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS DESERVE.

One stop shopping. Throughout 2019 it’s been a common denominator of our team’s discussions with multiple contractors and homeowners. The word is clear. One place to shop for their kitchen and bath needs — including flooring, bath fixtures and kitchen cabinets — is a priority.

That’s what we did. We consistently aim to improve our client’s shopping experience. We’re turning our sizable showroom into a one-stop-shop. As this inspiring process comes to fruition we’ll be introducing the new categories in phases.

VANITIES AND MEDICINE CABINETS

We started there. Every bathroom needs these so why not pick them out immediately after your tile selection? They truly go hand and hand. It’s like picking a suit and then the tie and shoes for the best fit. We now carry vanities from Madelli, Eviva, and New York Vanity. Our medicine cabinets are made by Sofia and Aquadom USA. We also carry cool LED mirrors and medicine cabinets, which have a defogger function and include a digital clock conveniently on the front of the mirror.

SHOWER DOORS

Next, we added shower doors. No bathroom is complete without your shower enclosure. Whether it’s a standard stock door or a custom enclosure, we provide it. Tiles Unlimited partners with Fleurco and Glasscrafters, two of the largest glass shower enclosures manufactures in the region.

FLOORING PRODUCTS

“Remember your roots.” We’ve also added to our many flooring products. Engineered wood and Luxury Vinyl Tile (“LVT”) are two flooring alternatives that are in high demand. Our LVT is waterproof and scratch resistant. It’s perfect for areas with height restrictions that make porcelain tile installation difficult. Currently, we have LVT in two styles; a wood look and a marble look. In fact, Floor Covering Weekly reports that national sales of the resilient flooring category is growing significantly year after year. Given the characteristics mentioned above, it’s easy to understand why. It’s also a lot easier and cheaper to install than porcelain tiles.

Many of our homeowner clients have asked if we carry hardwood flooring. They predominantly use this type of surface on the second level of their homes (excluding the bathrooms).

After multiple requests, we decided to offer engineered wood by Helena instead of traditional hardwood flooring. One of the advantages of engineered wood is it’s already pre-stained with the color. Hardwood flooring is not. With hardwood flooring you have to go through a trial and error process until you get the right tone for the stain. That can certainly be a time consuming hassle. Another great feature of engineered wood is that it’s designed to absorb less moisture. That prevents the many issues that can occur when hardwood absorbs moisture.

Tiles Unlimited will continue honoring our commitment to be a one-stop-shop. We will be adding product categories like bath lighting, kitchen cabinets, counters, and much more. It promises to be a sensational new year. Come experience the excitement.

We wish all of you the best in 2020.
